Density treatments involve depositing pigment into the scalp creating the illusion of shadow and density at the base of the hair strands in the thinning areas, giving you a denser-looking full head of hair, whether you are experiencing hair loss at the crown, hairline, or on top. This treatment is a permanent alternative to thickeners and hair fibers which need to be applied daily and are often messy.

Pigment is applied to create a texture made up of layers of slightly varying toned deposits. I believe in a conservative approach as it is important not to completely cover all of the exposed scalp with too high a density of pigment as this would create an unnatural appearance over time especially if a client continued to lose hair. Which is one of the fundamental reasons why we strongly suggest researching before committing to an SMP artist.

Consultation
On the day of treatment Harry will carry out a comprehensive consultation with you as you commence your journey with Scalp Inked, talking through what is important to you and what desired results you are hoping to achieve.
I will work with you to create the perfect density and style. We select the most appropriate pigment color and shade for your skin and hair type for the most natural results.
The SMP is measured and drawn on for your approval so before starting your SMP sessions you will know exactly what is achievable and what you should expect the end result to look like and no work will go ahead until everyone is happy and has a clear idea of the desired outcome!

The Treatment
SMP is conducted over 2-4 sessions with each session lasting from 2-4 hours dependent upon your amount of hair loss and each session must be at least 1-2 weeks apart.

Different pigment shades are used with each subsequent session resulting in the hyper-realistic appearance of the tattoo.

The First session will be the lightest of all of the pigment shades and it's conducted this way so that we can get a nice base shade for your look and to see how your skin heals the pigment. I like to call this my information session as we need to get as much information about your skin to give you the best result possible.

The Second and Third sessions we will be building on the first. Using all the information we've gathered I'll have a clear idea of how your skin has healed the pigment and which shade to pick next. We will generally go a darker shade and be filling in the spaces between the dots to achieve the desired density.
The Final Look
The final look for a Womens Long Hair Density treatment with Scalp Inked is when the contrast between the empty or thinning existing hair and the scalp has been minimized achieving a more youthful fuller looking head of hair.
